Thoughts and Prayers for those in need

Please include my dad (Fred) in your prayers. He woke up this morning with numbness from head to toe on his one side. He's currently at an urgent care ER where they did a cat scan and chest x-ray. They believe he had a mini stroke but can't confirm. They're sending him to another facility for an mri to figure out exactly what's going on. I just spoke with him on the phone and he seemed to be doing better and said the numbness has mostly gone away except for his hand. Praying they can figure out exactly what's happened and can get him whatever treatment he needs.

Thanks for the prayers. They're going to do a few more tests on him today and hopefully he'll be released later this evening. I took mom down to see him last night and he looked and was acting really good. Most of the numbness had gone away but still a little in his hand. They said his stroke score is a 0 so that's a good sign. They just want to rule out any other causes. Hopefully get an answer today! He's the toughest guy I know for his age (could work circles around guys my age) and this is his first time ever spending a night in the hospital so he is definitely out of his element haha.

 

Definitely prayers going out for Papapiney.

 

Dad's home from the hospital! They confirmed that he had a TIA (mild stroke) and after all the tests they said he had no blockages at the moment. During one of the scans they did notice a small nodule on one of his lungs that they told him to get checked out in 6 months. Praying that it is nothing to worry about.

He's a tough old piney and has made it into his 70's without any prescriptions and not one hospital stay until this one.

I haven't been here in a while. Im out of prayers.
Mrs. Sirchopsalot and I.are a breath away from calling it quits after 29 years .....6 dating and 23 with a piece of paper at the town hall.

In the beginning we believed the Lord meant for us to be together. So He also knew stuff would hit the fan. We didn't believe He changed His mind, or was wrong, but intended for us to remove our heads from our @$$3$, and straighten up.

But now I kinda think we asked amiss, and He granted us our foolish hearts desires. What held us together for so long, is null and void. And we can't stand eachother.

Counseling and things are happening. Forgiveness and heing can happen, but there are some (ok is one) fairly major incompatability in the way. Japanese men aint got nothing on me.

I dont know what to ask prayer for....His will revealed, direction for both of us....

I will certainly pray. Both parties have to work and want to fix it for counseling to work. Our pastor always counsels that feelings follow actions. In other words even if you don't have those loving feelings start doing loving actions. .My wife and I led a divorce care ministry so we also had many discussions with the pastor on marriage counselling as well. I also experienced a divorce so I understand the pain. God can heal anything.
