    Please keep my neighbor, Mike and his family (mom is 92) in your prayers. Just found his oldest brother, Cecil, in the bed, passed away. Hadn't been to work this week. His wife was visiting their son in Atl.

    Could use some prayers for my daughter right now. She has an infection in her gums from a deep cavity she had filled last month. This morning her face was swollen and we got her a dentist appt first thing. She had a root canal and was sent home with antibiotics but the swelling got worse by lunch time and they told us to bring her to the children's er. They admitted her and she's on IV antibiotics to fight the infection and swelling. Looking like we'll be here overnight. She's handling it well but it's hard seeing her hurting. I appreciate the prayers.

    Thanks for the prayers everyone. She's doing pretty good but the right side of her face is still pretty swollen. We're settled in for the night, hoping to see progress by morning. Here's a picture of her from this weekend when we were camping in PA.

    Update: She's feeling good this morning but still pretty swollen. They took her off iv fluids and antibiotics and switched her to oral antibiotics. Hoping to be discharged before lunch. Praying that the swelling goes down throughout the day. Thanks for the continued prayers everyone.

    We are home now thankfully. She is feeling much better but still swollen. They said it may take a while for it to go down. Continuing antibiotics and praying she's back to 100% in a day or two.

    Just saw on Facecord (that section on the right of the main page) That Mitch Newton , his wife just posted that he sadly passed away on 10-3-23 from Cancer. Just thought I'd pass the news on since he's been here since the beginning of the FHC Forum.
