Thoughts and Prayers for those in need

Thanks for update. Glad to hear that they are doing better.

 

Another update on the kids...
Bryce is doing much better, wearing a back and neck brace for his broken vertabrae.
And his sister...
Update on Briar Rose.
She is maintaining all of her vitals. She has nothing attached but a G-tube that was placed yesterday. She is still very irritable and hasn’t fully woken up. She cries a lot but who wouldn’t with broken bones and hardly any pain medication. (Which I have been showing out about). She was opening her eyes a lot Wednesday and Thursday along with trying some yesterday. She is definitely ill and lets anyone that touches her know it. She is now out of ICU & in a regular pediatric room. We will hopefully soon be headed to therapy in Atlanta to watch her do even more of what the Lord has in store for her. She is such a strong girl and the Lord’s hands has definitely been on her the whole time. We are thankful for every team we have had so far but we are ready for the next step. We weren’t selfish with our prayers for wanting a perfect baby back, we just wanted her with us & that’s what the Lord has done. Please continue to pray for her and our journey ahead of us. We are so grateful for every prayer, text, stuffed animal, card, drawing, picture and donation. It has helped more than y’all realize. Keep the prayers coming for out baby girl! ❤️

Another update on the little girl...

3 weeks ago they called Brandan Rudeseal and I to a room and basically told us that when we were ready, they would pull the vent tube. My husband immediately hung his head and tears filled his eyes. I grabbed his hand and said “Look at me!… LOOK AT ME!” He looked at me and I said in front of all 20 people in the room, “We don’t live by what these people show us on a screen! We live by what God shows us and what he has promised us! We do not have to receive ANYTHING they tell us!” YOU SHOULD HAVE FELT THE ROOM LOOK AT US LIKE I HAD LOST MY MIND! They started telling us everything she wouldn’t be and I told them “I hear you but I don’t receive it. The LORD is going to heal her.” From then on, we never attended rounds and no one really had much to say to us bc we would tell them that if it was negative or not something from the Lord, then we didn’t want to even hear it.
Well well well.… WILL YOU LOOK WHAT MY GOD HAS DONE?!?!
In the PICU, they spoke death over my child when I was speaking LIFE into her. They told me everything she WOULD NOT do and she has done all of it so far. When she started doing too much of the unbelievable, they didn’t know what to do. As a child of God and a believer in his work, I sat still and watched. Doctors pass us in the elevator and are speechless. THAT WAS MY PRAYER ALL ALONG! SPEECHLESS! QUESTIONS! MINDS BLOWN! FOR EVERYTIME THEY SPEAK DEATH OVER SOMEONE, THEY QUESTION IT A LITTLE BIT BECAUSE OF BRIAR ROSE!
I’m thankful for everyone who has put time in with my girl because I know God placed them there for whatever they needed to experience through her. BUT y’all, give God some time to do his work! You do not have to accept anything anyone tells you in any situation! The past 3 weeks have been pure torture for us but GOD has showed us exactly who is in control. We will FOREVER give him the praise.
As our baby sat here, we played some worship music for her and bawled like big babies. Not because of sadness, but because of the miracle we knew we were looking at. 3 weeks ago we knew God would heal her, 3 weeks later it’s still the same! ❤️
(I didn’t get her sitting up with her eyes open today bc she was snoozing the whole time but she did let us know she was not happy at first.)

 

God is good. Thank you for the update.
