Great news Canadian border VT .... Prayers continue... CoachSchaller .... Prayers.... May Lord hear the prayers...
Just an update on my friend (Don)... God is Good. Thanks for all the prayers. He was on a ventilator for about 2 weeks. He came off the ventilator shortly after I posted this message and has been slowly making progress to recovery. He has a long road ahead (lost 60 lbs while in the hospital. He's currently in a rehab center trying to get strength and lung capacity back and will probably be on O2 for a while yet. Doctor's expect him to make a full recovery. I spoke with him on the phone for about an hour last night. He gets winded just talking, but is making baby steps. Again, thanks for the prayers. I have no doubt God was listening.
Prayers please for my one and only sister who is in the hospital. She did not even recognize me at first when I saw her today. She seems to be very confused and probably alzheimers kicking in as she keeps showing signs. Even imaging things that are not there. She does have Parkinson's and her shaking was bad today. Then I found from nurse she has not swallowed her medicines but spitting them out. I've got with her daughter who has medical control and will be meeting with her tomorrow. Sad. btw, she just turned 84 last month.
Prayers for your sister Dennis. Alzheimers is very sad for all. I no how tuff this is and please hang in there.
Father, for Denis and his sister, I ask for peace in both their hearts. We're all in your hands and more than anything, need to be aware of Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and Your presence, let us know this is all ok, that You "got this", and that through the suffering, you are with us, lo even unto the end. Almighty, keep us from despair, let us bask in the light of your throne! Speak now to Denis' heart. Love always, Sca
I was ready to head to hospital but now I have to wait. I talked to my niece and was told my sister is no longer responding and they are taking her to intensive care. Other info I was given does not sound good at all so all I can do is wait and see. Visiting is quite restricted so I don't even know if I'll get to see her again or not. The worst of it is when talking to my niece and she telling me about all the doctor was saying plus all the signs just brought back some very difficult memories.
