Heavenly Father, I pray that you keep our troops safe and Bless them with the courage to persevere. I ask that You comfort the Vets, for their Bravery is not forgotten, and those of whom paid the ultimate price, for the Freedom you instilled in this country at its Founding. May you Bless this Nation, oh Lord, for Your Glory. And on this Memorial Day, I pray for these, our fellow Americans serving, I pray for the families of the fallen, I pray that Your Love and Mercy cover us and protect us Father, and I ask in the Holy and Mighty Name Of Jesus Christ, who taught us to pray, saying
Our Father, who Art in Heaven,
    Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom Come, Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily Bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us,
And lead us not into Temptation but deliver us from Evil,
For Thine is the Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory For Ever. Amen and Amen.

May God bless my FHC Brothers and Sisters, keeping you all safe, and especially loved.

    Eric VW

Good news is I've had a couple good night's sleep lately. Let us hope this continues. Bad news is vertigo hit again this morning. Fortunately very light this time and once I got up all was well. Usually it hits the hardest when laying down which can make life interesting when one has to lay down to sleep and especially during the night when most men have to get up at least once during the night for a necessary thing.

Prayers sent Dennis. Would a slightly upright sleeping position help at all?

Some say yes and some say no. So far I've not found it to help but instead the rest of the body suffers even more if I don't sleep horizontally.

Just a little vertigo again but the worst is that I got only about an hour of sleep last night. I feel about like a zombie now. Think I'll sack out a little early tonight.

Sorry if you explained it already but do they know why the vertigo hits you?

Not sure. Saw specialist a few days ago but no vertigo then and he could find nothing concrete to look into. He did give me some exercises to do and we'll be trying those for a while to see if it helps. Perhaps it is because this present round of it is very mild.

Have they done a CT scan of your carotid arteries? I was getting a mild case of feeling light headed and told the doctor.

Untreated high blood pressure for years led to a partial blockage of one side. Nothing serious luckily.

No. Have done on head, ears, neck, all MRI but not on arteries. My blood pressure the other day in the office was 116/76.

    Another request here:

Some of the people who were at the gtg in April may remember one of our neighbors (we don't have many!). The only other people who live on this road is a young couple (young by our standards at least). Sadly today we learned that yesterday he was taken to a hospital. Seems he collapsed at work so they called 911. He has a collapsed lung and said there is a hole in the bottom of the lung. Surgery scheduled for some time today. Sadly I have no word on it other than this. Hope to find out how the surgery went and will post as soon as we know.

When I think about this he has had problems several times complaining about a rib. This makes me wonder if perhaps he at one time injured a rib and that rib ended up poking a hole in the lung. We pray he will come out of this okay but I'm betting he won't be working for a while.
