    Update. Last night I received a call from our family doctor. He is a good guy. Not treating her in hospital he can't see her either. But we had a good talk and went over her case plus some history and is getting on this as much as possible. Said he will call me today as a follow up.

    I hope she is much better today as yesterday was a tough one. When 2 people are as close as we are and have been married over 58 years, it is tough being apart and also not being able to talk.

    I am glad your family doc is on your side, even if he isn't treating her. It gives you a feeling of not being so alone in this. How are your kids handling this?

    I'm having a problem getting an update from the nurse this morning so nothing to report there. The good news is that I got a few words out of her this morning so it looks better than it did yesterday.
