    Its not a theory , its a FACT, lots of them are man made, no doubt about it. I KNOW that for sure!! I have friends in the logging industry that have been on the fires, he/ they have told me they know for a FACT that they were set by man. Some times they use firecrackers to touch them off or just flip a cigarette out the window and let the wind do the rest. No matter what you hear or read, YOU BET some of these fires are MAN MADE, and, they have caught some of them, been charged with arson. But, many of the local news channels are trying hard to gloss the facts over and go with what the governor wants them to print. A friend of mine had 3 fires in one 15 acre spot, all took off about the same time. The sheriff deputies were chasing a pickup on that fire. they did get it out, but, it took them about 4 hrs.

    A little add on about the fires on the west coast, oregon in particular, right now, our humidity in our part of the state is at 84% and its 49 degrees,plus we have some heavy fog out there, you can FEEL the difference, but the air quality is at a all time VERY DANGEROUS level. We are seeing some changes in the weather, looks like we might get some rain/ chance of rain this week starting monday, Keep the Prayers, flowing, its WORKING, GOD IS IN CONTROL. thank you all!! Lots of people hurting, and its unimaginable the total devastation in some of these towns.

    Both good and bad news today. Good news is the neck is healing fine and when it is all healed there will be no restrictions. Also good news is that I will be able to hunt (with rifle) this fall. However I won't be able to use a large caliber rifle but can use the 30.30.

    Bad news is that I can't throw the brace away just yet but very soon can go to a soft brace. If walking in woods he wants me to use the hard brace. Also some PT but that is just to get me started using those muscles that haven't been used for so long. Probably 4 weeks going a couple times per week.

    But at least things are starting to move forward and he know what hunting means to me. Still no saw time until at least next spring but I can now bring wood to the porch! There will be a few things I won't be able to do for a while but this is a relief!

    One bad thing I did not tell about and I wasn't going to, but... The left arm and especially the hand is still not good. In fact it is probably like that so-called thorn in the flesh we all know about. I was told that nerve damage is the slowest thing in the body to heal and it could take as much as a year and a half to heal. Probably something that was damaged during surgery and most likely just from swelling. So nothing to do now but wait. In the meantime I can't type and many things are difficult and very aggravating. Like trying to get something out of a pocket; the rear pocket is the worst. Putting gloves on is a bit of a problem. Lots of little things like that.

    I was told the same for the lumbar version. (Numbness in leg of course). Gotta admit, it did slowly improve over about 3 years. Don't get discouraged yet. Long way to go.
    And I hear ya loud and clear on that thorn! St. Paul, pray for us.

    If anyone would care to give a shout out to our Big man for my God Mother, I would greatly appreciate it. She went to the Lord at 4:16 this morning. She was a Very God fearing woman, was a Nurse during WWII, prayed everyday, went to the same church for 60 years, had her Bible by her side always and made it to a wonderful age of 99 years. She lived a full life, survived cancer 3 times and was the second person in life to hold me after "my" birth, my Father was at sea when I showed up. :whistle: Good timing huh...
    Please ask God to bring a special person, (Marge Thiel) into his kingdom, she was his servant in life. Thank you all, I'm having a pretty rough day... :(
