Mom's mobile is pretty limited right now. She is eating well and doing her leg and foot exercises in bed. Pain is right there as soon as she is active. I think it will be a couple of days before she will going home.
Praying for Thanks Chaz I really appreciate that. Hearing about a seventh grader taking his own life hit me hard. Prayers go out to his family. Praying for Woodwidows Mom and her recovery. I pray for Sonja and her family. Praying we can all understand and find wisdom in knowing the gospel of JESUS CHRIST.
Mom is home and is getting around with her walker. Takes a lot of energy but she is doing it. Thanks again for the well wishes and prayers.
Please pray for successful meeting tomorrow, and the end of 8.5 years of turmoil and ugly human being has put us through. That this horrible person follows through and plays by the rules and does the right thing so we can move on with our lives and make it as wonderful as our first 20 years together again. Thank you friends.
Without knowing details and not sure I want to. My wife and I were betrayed by someone who we trusted. I will spare you and everyone else the details. I pray for the outcome to be a good and successful one. With that being said. I have learned from our ordeal is God doesn't always give us what we want but does give us what we need. Now looking back I am so thankful for us not getting what we wanted. What I have been given is so much more valuable and that wildwest is forgiveness. Because of my relationship with Christ I can forgive. Can not even put into words how awesome it feels but how hard it was. I pray for you and your situation and for all to come to repentance.
Thank you for the thoughts and prayers friends. 13 hour marathon mediation yesterday. We won! WE WON!
Oh wildwest that is really fantastic. Prayer works! We are really happy for you and now you can make more concrete plans.
Fantastic! 13 hours is a lot of mediating! Without knowing the issue, I hope you get a speedy settlement, or restitution, of whatever's coming to you. Congratulations!
I thought I'd share with the family here about my week. And, it's yet another time in my life where the man upstairs has come through... again. My wife Vicki had a heart attack Tuesday. After going to our local hospital, she was finally transported to Maine Med, which is a top heart center... they found that she had had a heart attack but incredibly, her heart had no damage, and there were no blockages. They diagnosed it as Takotsubo syndrome... she's home now and resting. Gonna go slow and quiet around here for a while. I am beyond grateful that God answered my many prayers this week. His work has shown up a lot over this last year. My prostate cancer was diagnosed exactly 1 year to the day, that Vicki's docs found out what was going on with her. Through surgery, my cancer was cured, and Vicki has now been given a second chance too. Whew. So, please send a prayer or 2 this way that Vicki can find serenity and calm, where before she only worried and stressed way too much. We've got a new "project" here now. Thanks everyone... and give your honey a hug... ya just never know. Dave
Thank God she is all right! We are at that age, where we can't take good health for granted. New project, destressifying Vicki's life? That's worth doing, even without a heart attack. Prayers for many more years for Vicki.
What a week you have been through! Prayers for both you and your wife. Praise the Lord for answered prayer - sometimes when we don't even know what we are praying for.
