    Tough situation, from my experience being in phys rehab away from their home and wanting to be home so bad almost hampers their rehabilitation. Very glad to hear she getting back to herself again. I could not imagine. Bless you Mama, hang tight, work tight on your strengthening sessions and you will be home soon.

    Miz Carol got her CT scan results back. She has a slight dilation of the aorta and a hiatal hernia. They want to check it again in one year, make sure it is not getting bigger

    Praying that one year from now they find no dilation or any sign of a hiatal hernia. When and if they are puzzled or surprised you can show them our thoughts and prayers for those in need thread. And ask could it be? Also praying for anyone else who might be dealing with loss health issues or any other of life's
    struggles.

    Thanks. My hunny had some kind of bite on her arm a few days after the scan. It got infected, (I think spider bite). Had to get meds and then Dr did surgery on it yesterday so it could drain...it has been painful. But GOD is in control.

    I'm glad your mom has bounced back mentally, that will help her leg rehab too.
    At least she is somewhere safe and warm with winter coming. I'm sure she would rather be home, feeding wood into the stove!

    My wife finally got to see the surgeon again. Appointments were made and cancelled and rescheduled and we began to wonder. One was set for today but yesterday they called and asked if we could go in the afternoon. We did. Apt was at 3:30 and it was over an hour later before we got in. I really hate when they do that. We accomodate them by accepting a change then they screw you around.

    Anyway, now she has to see our family doctor then surgery will be scheduled. But I told him not to mess up my deer hunting! lol

    Update on mama...what started as a routine Dr visit changed. She was wheezing bad, feet swollen, been short of breath. Sent her over to ER. Admitted her to hospital, possible congestive heart failure. Her cardiologist will check her tomorrow
