A true measure of your worth includes all the benefits others have gained from your success.

Ninety percent of politics is deciding who to blame.

Success is always temporary. When all is said and done, the only thing you’ll have left is your character.

Where you come from signifies nothing. It’s where you go and what you do when you get there that tells you who you are.

You can make your world so much larger simply by acknowledging everyone else’s.

There is never a better measure of what a person is than what he does when he’s absolutely free to choose.

When we seek to discover the best in others, we somehow bring out the best in ourselves.

One measure of leadership is the caliber of people who choose to follow you.

There is no greater burden than great potential.

A man of genius makes no mistakes. His errors are the portals of discovery.

The rate at which a person can mature is directly proportional to the embarrassment he can tolerate.

Christopher Columbus was one of the world’s most remarkable salesman: He started out not knowing where he was going. When he got there he didn’t know where he was. When he returned he didn’t know where he had been. He did all this on borrowed money and managed to get a repeat order.

Does dust count? Maybe trying to hold the pages together?

I still laugh one times someone was here and during our conversation something came up about the Bible and they wanted to know if we had one so they could look it up. Then they gripped about all the loose pages. "Can't you afford a new one?" they asked.
