We do not always gain by changing. It takes a lifetime to build a good reputation but it can be destroyed in an instant. A character, like a kettle, once mended, always needs mending. It’s not only the feathers that make the bird. Actions speak louder than words.

I have a devotional book I read every morning that's written by Tony Dungy, former Colts and Buccaneers coach, and recently found this series that he and NFL announcer, James Brown have done where they spotlight NFL players and coaches who hold fast to their Christian beliefs. Take yourself to church, not your Sunday clothes. Look out for the unexpected. All’s well that ends well. A bad penny always returns. Be civil to all, sociable to many, familiar with few.
