Wow, what a score. Job very well done. Glad you had some help and equipment a few days. That will keep those splitters busy for awhile since it is already bucked. Hope you can clear the whole lot.

It's nice to have a truck like that for the work you're doing. Nicely done!

Got 4 cords out today with the help of some college muscle to do the loading while I ran the saws. Didn’t get a picture of the first load but did the for the second. Here are some pics of the rounds dropped off at the splitting area. Total of 26 cords out of there so far since last Wednesday with 21 of them going to my moms.

Good thing you're not in CT. Methinks you'd have competition from someone. I think most everyone knows who. :saw::axe:

    Congrats for getting after it!

Didn’t take any pics today but I got another 2 cords bringing my total to 28 all since last Wednesday. I do think I’m done there though. All of the accessible trees have been taken. He may offer to let me take more when his machines are there and I won’t say no. I figure there’s another 40 trees or so that should add up to around 15 cords. I’m guessing I cut somewhere around 110-120 trees down there.

Impressive! Very efficient system you have to be able to get so much wood out in such a short amount of time. Don’t know if you recall the thread by DNH about free oak in SW Missouri, but if you were anywhere near him, I think I know where the 70 oaks he was trying to get rid of would have gone! Nice work:yes:

Even if I don’t, I’m ok with that. I dedicated a lot of time and have other things that need to be done. It was sweet though while it lasted

All of the wood I got from there (28 cords but only 25 brought home) are all split into each of these piles.
