Doh!! For some inexplicable reason I was thinking forks. Hell if you have a bucket loading logs would be silly. My bad.
Better yet you have someone to load the bucket. You can almost phone it in.
    Good luck and good weather.

Put in another 5 hours today bringing me up to right around 17 hours total. With the help of his equipment, his guys, and a neighbor, I have pulled 13 cords out of there so far and it’s all cut to 16” already. We got quite a bit cleared. His guy running the excavator was busy pulling stumps so I can’t count how many I’ve cut betting around 45-50. Now that we are deeper on the property, they are using the skid steer to bring logs up to where the gravel is. Also used the excavator to push some trees down I was cutting today to get them where we wanted them. I have about 2 cords of logs sitting ready for me to cut.

That thing rips with an 18” bar on it and it’s light enough to limb with and isn’t too cumbersome to cut trees down with. Very very happy so far!

It was just me and a neighbor yesterday and this morning. He’s doing most of the skid steer work and I’m doing most of the saw work and all of the loading rounds into the bucket. Got another two cords out this morning. Land owner is having a kids bday party with family so he wanted me to be done early.
I’m up to 15 cords out in 21 hours of work. Here’s a shot of my 3 saws as well as today’s load and my best helper ever. He cut some small limbs off with his handsaw and helped load the bucket.

Do you buy it in bulk containers? Some nice looking rounds as always. Whats the mix of species from the score? Seems like you are laden with oak down there?

Was working alone today and skid steer was gone. Still got 3 cords out and put 14 trees on the ground in about 5.5 hours. The first load which was a cord was sold as is for $200, delivered to a guys house ten minutes away. The next load was 2 cords and I brought it to my usual spot at my moms.

Did t cut any wood yesterday for the first time in a week. Back at it today though and got cords 21 and 22 out. I put a bunch of bigger sized trees on the property on the ground today and cut up at least 1-1.5 cords. I’m hiring a strong 19 yo tomorrow and am aiming for 4 if not 6 cords out. Included a pic of the clearing so far.
