    I had a retractable shop light that was like that. Wouldn't lock, or would lock when you didn't want it to. Or out of the blue unlock and shoot the lamp 200mph around the garage, usually blowing out the bulb.
    I ended up ripping it off the wall in a fit of rage. "There I fixed it" :eek::rofl: :lol:
