Who knows what future generations will discover. There was a time when anyone who questioned the wisdom of drilling holes in people’s skulls to let the bad spirits out were labeled heretics

Kind of interesting that these authors of this study that was determined to be fake news are still on staff with the Cleveland Clinic or one of its affiliates or subsidiaries.

Dr. Nabin Shrestha, MD - Cleveland, OH - Infectious Diseases - Request Appointment

Dr. Steven Gordon, MD - Cleveland, OH - Infectious Diseases

Of note, it does sound like Dr. Gordon did offer clarifying information. Not sure if his comments were written or spoken but this news station reported on them.

    flu-like symptoms doesn't mean you have/had flu
you really need to take one of those rapid antigen tests.

You can have flu-like symptoms from the flu shot itself, you don't have 'the flu'.

I felt good enough to drive up to Killington last night and skied all day today. Wish I had more energy but made the most of a day that saw the temperature go backwards and end up -10 at the peak by the end of the day.

Too many studies are paid for by interested parties. The purchaser has bias in his/her purchase. It's hard to believe any of them these days.

I figured whenever athletes had "flue-like symptoms", that was code for being hungover.

I agree. I try to be objective, look at differing views and become educated before forming an opinion, taking advice or assessing validity of another’s opinion. Simply accepting an opinion because of a title or a degree can easily lead to problems in many circumstances.

Really knocks you on your a$$.

IIRC I had it as a kid. Had it for a few days in April 2018. I only remember as i turned 50 while down and out. Has it again either 2020 or 2021 during covid. Never got tested then. Had a mild case of covid Fall of 23 and nothing bad since.

Glad youre on the mend Joe. Customers awaiting deliveries and lots of Jackson's to be made.

I got down with it about a month ago just starting to really feel better. Definitely not something to play with. I use to get flu shots every year and done really well. I believe next year I’m going to get back on them. I’m 49 and believe they would be a benefit
