Maybe just nice straight wood but he seems to have gotten his angles right. His splitter seems to be working nice. Some of the commercials really labor. Course they aren’t splitting nice wood.
I have enough wood on hand now that I can be picky. Grab the nice straight logs and Leave the crotches for the woodpeckers. If some one wants to split every thing they find, like I once did, a box splitter may not be the best alternative.

Wow. Ok.....that thing makes it too easy. Isn't it a law or something that you're supposed to sweat while you're processing firewood? If only he would come up with something that would stack the wood in a movable system/ crate / container etc after it gets pushed through....

My whole existence is making firewood sweatless for minimum cash outlay :) :)

other people have boxes on tractor forks the wood deposits in. Then they dump it ina pile.
The whole question then becomes pile or stacked. IMO piles work if you split in winter and spring and sell it a little moist in the fall. Piles left for multiple years will turn to mold. But I’m working on that too.

So don’t I. Or just pass out entirely LOL Chronic Lyme disease. Hence the effort to decrease the effort. Could burn oil but then I’d never get off the damm couch. Firewood is my gym membership just don’t want to overdo it.
