Thinking about a snowblower

Beautiful thing! All you’d need is a place to stand like some of the commercial mowers have Maybe not for $340! Seems like you could build one for pretty cheap. I would die to see this setup!

 

I'm already getting dangerously close to the cost of a 54" blower on my X739 tractor... and that's honestly what's probably keeping me from pulling the trigger on the Ariens. However, the cost goes up even more with that option because I couldn't sell my current Ariens 27" blower as I'd still need something smaller to do my sidewalks and rear patio. On top of that, Lowes is in constant flux going in and out of stock on both the 28" and 32" RapidTrack units. It seems every couple days they get a couple more in and it's in stock from around 10am til about 3pm. Those 5 hours I obsess about whether to buy or not and at some point during the afternoon I refresh the page again and boom... out of stock. The conspiracy theorist in me says they are rationing them and tossing a couple a day on their site to feed my anxiety and help push me into a decision. I mean, how the heck do they know that seeing the "hurry, low stock" message pop up under "add to cart" works so well on me?!?! LOL

Well it’s been a minute since anyone on FHC bought any new ope. Prices will keep going up, so probably should get the next available. More snow on the way, might as well have a new toy.

 

Lowes not playing today.... Nothing in stock...

 

I just read Paul Sikkema posted that Ariens is expanding EFI options for 2021 so if that's important to anyone, there should be model tweaks coming later this year.
