My story exactly. Car parts, barbed wire, appliances, tires, glass, etc. We have hauled off several tons of junk, plus what the scrap guy hauled away It is tapering down now, after 4 years. I know where there remains a few good sized chunks of steel, but most of it is gone now.

When we moved to our farm, we found a few old motorcycles, one with a brush hog, and one with the gravely, that brought chit to a halt. Other than lots of fence wire I think that was the most exciting that I remember.

i find more stuff in grown up yards in the summer.
like hitting a bloated dead cat with a lawn mower that didn't smell to pleasant.

    Wow. You win.

Which reminds me of the day I learned to keep your mouth 100% shut while weed wacking near dog turds.

I cleaned out a neighbors back yard with my KM 94 R in the summer where the weeds had grown to over 6' tall. Found lots of things including ironically a gas weed whacker

When I cleaned up the property I now live on I recycled over 3,000 pounds of metal that was all over the place. There was everything from engine blocks to fence wire, sheet metal, old power equipment etc.

After I got it all sorted out, the final tally was 6 white painted metal sections, 2 galvanized sections, and 1 unusable galvanized section. About half have a few small splits and holes, but I don’t think a wood stack will mind. And the price was right...free!

The holes can be patched with caulking. And if need be a steel patch "silly coned" on.

Well I volunteered to do my aunts grass with a weed eater. Her grass got really tall at her old house and no mower can do the job. Sometimes I just find more grass under the top and sometimes weed eater found dog chits. :dennis: The less you know, the better.

I've found all kinds of things with the Bush hog. Stumps, rocks, an old steel wheel with an old hardened tire on it, had a brick fly out from under it once that somebody donated to us, chopped up a concrete block once because I forgot to remove it from under the tongue of the mower and just took off dragging it to where I started mowing. I found what seemed like about 30 miles of bailing wire once, what a lovely mess that was.

A couple years back my dad found that the edge of the creek had moved over from where it was before, that seems to happen sometimes when weeds get up to 6ft tall and you can' see where your going.
