Same here. I miss this one the most ('86 CJ7 with the Dana 44 rear).

I had a '84 CJ7 bought it new and put well over 600,000 miles on it. My wife encouraged me to get rid of it as it was basically a frame with a seat!! The weather inside was the same as outside. One day the seat belt that didn't retract anymore and was coiled up on the floor behind me fell through the floor and went under the rear wheel at highway speed. Another time the passenger seat fell through the floor and I think my brother in law pooped himself.

We just sold the TJ I built. Air locked D44 from a Rubi, electronic locker in the front and regeared to match the 4:10. 8 arm, 3.5” lift, SYE, Banks header/cat back, Brown Dog motor mounts, and a ton of other stuff.

I got tired of wrenching on it honestly. In an attempt to get the wife to keep it, I bought the new wheels and tires seen above. For years we ran steelies w/ MT Baja MTZ’s. Wheeled this heep hard for years and never broke anything.
