    Back in the 70s my mother-in-law had something she called drawing salve. It was black and kind of looked like grease if my memory is correct. You would put that on an infected cut or pimple and the next day it was pretty much gone.
    Could any of these be it? Has anyone heard of it? Can you still get it now?

    Don't think any of those were drawing salves. We used to be able to get one I think was called antiphlogestine or something like that and it was amazing. Get a thorn in that you can't get out or even a sliver, that stuff would indeed draw it out. Stunk bad but it worked.

    I looked on the internet and from what I have found CVS has it.
    Stuff was amazing. Wife wants to get some.

    I have since learned there are different types of it. The one we used to be able to get came in a squeeze tube and was gray; sort of reminded you of JB Weld. lol
