We broke all our planes too Steven! Along with many of our other toys. Many times the rebuilding and reconfigurations were a lot of fun, and good learning experiences for my brothers and I.
Just saw an ad for some jacks. $3.00. The last set we got was free but if you bought them at the time I think they were $.25.
Loved these old concert postings. One of my old stomping grounds in my old neighborhood. L’Amours Rocked.....
Definitely one of my top 3 favorite bands (probably number one). I haven't followed them for a long time though (don't listen to a whole lot of music these days) so I don't know if they're still making music or not. The older stuff was incredible though. I always wanted to see them live but never did.
Also used Butch wax for a "Flat Top" or sometimes called a "Crew Cut" haircut George Jones, country western singer from East Texas with a Flat Top haircut
One of my favorites as well, didn’t go to this show as I was only 15 at the time. Saw them live a couple of times in the 90’s great live band. I believe they are due for a new release soon.
Flat tops are alive and still looking good in NE Ohio...My wife's son and my BIL (well he is RIP now too) rocking the George Jones!
Funny. I was going to post that many would not understand jacks except for those strange things that lift things. lol
Does anyone still use the phrase, "Give it some gas," when they mean increase the throttle? I told someone recently to give it some gas and they did not know what I meant.
