Storm made it in. Chilly, gray, overcast morning. 41F. Nice rain overnight. Had to dig out the cold weather gear this morning. Cool, crisp, clean air. No smoke. Fall starting to pop along the creek. I love cycling...…………….in the fall.
Great spring riding. Great winter riding. Logged 1.1K miles so far. Looking to be a good year. Retirement has me looking at my riding scheduling totally different. Nice. I'll see you on the road.
A break in the rain to go for a ride. Down along the creek it's pick'n up. Run off and heavy rain for 24 hours......Clear Ck is raging. This is the falls east of Alkire. The under pass at 44th is flooded. It will be closed for at least the next month. Glad to be on the high ground w/the rubber side down.
Nice rides! I love thepictures. I ride mtb, but a lot of respect for the road guys. Riding is riding!
Went out for a ride today. 2nd ride for Feb. Sunny and almost warm. 30 miles down to the Platte. It's still winter and more to come on Sunday....but not so much today. In the shadows of the south end of the Mt. Evans massive, Rosalie peak, Epaulet Mt and Mt. Evans look down in all their winter glory. The cat tails are bent and broken from the winter snow. Waiting patiently for a beam of warmth and the return of their summer companions, the red wing black birds. It was like coming up for air.
In the spirit of the forum, I haven’t rode for a few months due to such favorable wood conditions! I can’t turn down work, I can ride all summer. I will be riding again in the summer. Until then, enjoy this picture I took in Bellingham, WA as I dropped in for the last ride of the day.
