Hard to believe but it's now been over 40 years since I was there (either 46 or 47). Doesn't seem that long ago. Still would like to return.
That was a bit ago. The roads and highways are in better shape now. Most of the bridges have been replaced . Delta is different as the base employes federal people . Lots are from Puerto Rico and other places one would never think someone from there would come to a place with7 to 8 months of winter .
