I shared that story with a young guy who hunts my land. He had something to show me. He found this other shed on my land that Spring. I gave him the one I found so he had a nice set and story.
I had found another shed a year ago while bush hogging (same as I was this time). As I was leaving an area I saw some white trash and went to pick it up only to realize it was a shredded antler. I’d left it out where he would find it, and he still had it, and we think it is the same buck. Of course there was no sign of him during rifle season. He might have cameras up still, so I’ll have to check if this buck made it through the Fall.
