When I originally posted in this thread, I posted having 12 cord. That was before or right at the start of the heating season. During the heating season I went through about a cord and a half. But now I have 7 cord in the shed, 2 cord outside the shed, and 4 cord next to the porch. That doesn't include about 30 cubic feet of firewood left inside the house from the heating season. So I now have 13 cord and about 30 cubic feet of farwood. :D

So I couldnt say an exact measure but having measured the wood that I am burning this year I had it at a cord exactly if I rounded the pile. Then I have probably 2 cord of birch then another cord of mixed wood consisting of cedar then cottonwood and then some maple. The maple in all was probably a cord exactly since I had to return to the guy to finish it off. With so many of these pallet boxes im putting up the size is hard to judge along with what is in it since it doesn't quite reach a size that I call finished. But if I really had to add everything up, im looking at 7-9 cord. Im set for the next 3 years of burning. The cord number may wane but new stuff is always coming in so its hard to put an exact number to it. When I get this stacked to number it and whatnot, I'll be able to give a more definitive number.

Keep in mind everyone, when we say a cord on this forum, we mean three face cords (a full cord) not one face cord:)

When i showed those pictures only about 3/4 was really seen. Again its hard to put a number on it since its all in different shapes too. Lots of dimensional stuff comes in but its great being in plentiful supply.

1 row of 13 pallets with 2 rows of CSSed wood on them; 1 row of 12 pallets with 2 rows of CSSed wood stacked on them. Probably 6-7 cords with all the chunks and uglies and cookies stowed between the rows on each row of pallets. I've never been this far ahead on wood so soon after the burning season.

To clarify a bit further (for others) , 3 face cords of 16" long pieces equals a cord. 128 cuft.
    To avoid future confusion.
