I have always loved Stephen Stills guitar playing. He is an under rated player. I saw him in Boston once with CSN&Y and he took the house down.. with his guitar on Southern Man, and a couple others where he could really let loose. So I went to see Kenny Wayne Shepard this past summer at a small outdoor concert venue on Lowell Massachusetts and I didn't really know what to expect. WOW was I surprised. This guy plays live like a next Stevie Ray Vaughn. He is a monster on the guitar, and he uses a great mix of his own and some unexpected songs from others where he puts his own spin on them. If you get a chance to go see Kenny Wayne Shepard, in this band or his own band, and you like great blues guitar with a rock edge to it, you won't be disappointed.

I love Scotty's Sundown. I grew up listening to my dad's Lightfoot and CCR 33's. I know what Sundown is about and can only imagine what a Canadian logging community would be like with that girl. Here's my favorite song in the entire world.
