Never seen the Chili Peppers but a few years ago when Chickenfoot played in Boston, drummer Chad Smith made a very poor taste joke about Larry Bird during the show and the crowd went silent then boos. I'm sure he thought he was being funny, but wrong place wrong time for this one. Sammy Hagar had to jump in quickly for damage control.

No offense to anyone but when you meet these people (professional musicians) in person, most are idiots and a**holes that write great music.

Yeah, I once read an interview where Bob Dylan blasted his fans for recognizing him on the streets and asking for autographs and such. I realize that they want some privacy, but they gave that up for stardom and with what they make in dollars for what they do, they owe it to their fans and not be a-holes about being recognized.

Jazz? I have to be in the mood for it. When they throw lyrics into it, I tend to lose interest.

I have a couple CD's from George Benson.

I gave finger picking a try a long time ago. Never could get both hands to work together like that. I do enjoy listening to it though.

That's why all good banjo players are over 60 or in their 20s and playing since a toddler. Most of the kids in the newer folk bands will strum the banjo. Finger pickin' takes forever to learn. One reason I switched to guitar. Ha ha!
