Here's a load going in to be set. Literally miles of them laid down in background . Now think RR lines .
I took my bi-weekly trip to Walmart to pick up 5 more bags of MWP. Walmart's inventory is actually dropping, but I don't know if from sales or all the bags they have to throw out because their idiot employees leave multiple unwrapped pallets sitting out in the rain. Swung by HD, not much has changed. Prices still the same and they must have at least 500 tons on hand. Mostly Stove Chow, which I've never seen at this HD prior to this year. A few pallets had SOLD labels on them, but not as many as past years.
Sub, we were at the waterfront in Portland last week when I looked across the street and saw this sign. I laughed thought of you.
I was at Home Depot in Kingston today. They had 76 million tons of Freedom Fuel. Also dropped prices per bag down to $5.38.
Stopped by the new TSC in Hillsborough, NH last night - nice store, no pellets, giving out Rain Checks for when their next order comes in. Didn't specify any brands, assuming TSC-bagged pellets, and website price of $5.49 / bag non-discounted.
I grabbed 5 bags last week during their grand opening so I could get the 10% off. Wow, they must have had a run on pellets because they had plenty while I was there. They turned out to be MWP's by their code (852453003066) Nice small, uniform pellets. Burn fine - a bit ashy, but so is everything else I burn.
Yup, the yard was -empty-, crickets were chirping.. MWP's, arhgg, I should've picked up a Rain Check. (shakes head). Might be taking a ride back.. -- Thanks for the info bogieb!
Least I could do was supply info after what you did for me last spring! Hey, and the rest of you Pellet Pigs get your minds out of the gutter
Geez, Mind is out of gutter so it must of been tips on where to find some during the pellet crunch(still ain't calling it a shortage! ).... Hopefully I was close. Did I win a beer??
There was no pellet shortage. 6 days a week i could get me some oakie golds within 4 miles. Thats one thing doug did well he kept dealers fed with at least golds. Was tough to get them to give ya bags of stuff. I am thinking of grabbing 5-10 bags of doug fir this year to see how they compare to blazers and will do the same with olympus.
