Isn't that the proper way to drain the oil. I mean how else would you get it out that little dipstick hole a straw maybe like when you put it in.

So let me pose a question for the guys who port saws.
If I take a 54cc saw and have it ported, squish lowered, timing advanced so that I get a 20% gain then would that mean that this saw would cut equal to a stock 67.5cc saw. Being that 20% of 54cc would equal 67.5cc.
If that is the case then I would have to say that is pretty impressive.

Or does a 67.5 cc saw make way more power than 20% over a 54 cc saw.

I'm pretty anal about my gains. 20% is a fail for me in most cases.

I got 15% from the first MS661 I did. I was not satisfied, so I ordered a new top end. It took 3 months to get it.

No worries, you were able to get that top-end and figure it out right proper before any of us were able to get our mitts on a saw!

So if you did get 20% gain out of a 60cc saw what size stock saw would you compare it to.
For example I have a Stihl 036 at 20% gain what stock saw would it cut with.

The 036 is not 54 cc. Or was your number above just a number you threw out there?
