Gunbroker is going nuts lol... im thinking about dumping some of mine at these prices... its nuts what people are paying.
My buddy pointed me at I paid $1/rd -$50 - for 9mm Federal 125gr HST +P JHP. Just looking now and the same box is now $89.95. Jason from Ri
And I thought 12 bucks for 50 rds of 9mm was bad. I'm good on what I have with 9mm. I've got a couple hundred 12 gauge shells, couple hundred 22lr, and another couple hundred between 6.8spc, 7.6x39, 9mm, 25 auto and 7mm rem mag. When prices aren't as stupid as they are now, I'll stock up again.
Used to be folks would drop off ammunition to my Office when the owner/hoarder passed on. We would divide it up among ourselves according to what caliber was and who owned whatever. Now we direct them to an auction place. Sells like hot cakes and they get some money.
I lucked out and picked up a few cases of 9mm and 5.56 each back at the end of Feb., right before the current nuttiness began. Haven't even looked at ammo OTC since then. I did just order 1/2 case of 6.5 Grendel for a new build, just so I had some on hand when it's ready. No telling what spring will bring.
I don't need anything I bought a bunch of reloading components from Cabela's online last Christmas sale. bridgeport equipment had fmj .40 cal 23.00 50 and 46.00 100rnd and 10mm were available .22 lr is double price now No 9mm or .45
Yep . My buddy's a dealer and he's been having a hard time keeping stock on the shelves and even ordering. It affects his rental business at the range too. I'm glad I bought what i did, when I did over the years.
Literally the only thing my local spot has is 12G TSS and some #7.5 20G. Everything else is gone and he said even he can't get more.
