Schnitzelholz. Dieselholz. Why is it Brennholz, not Feuerholz?

The large round in the first pic looks like popple...that is what my grandpa called it anyway.

I've had that 1st wood in my racks before but dammed if I knew what it was. Schiesse.

    Second is clearly 'hidethepickleholz'.

Black Locust? Wow that is completely different from the Locust that I am used to. Even the wood grain is different from the locust I have sitting waiting to go in the stove.

Same here. Granted, we're pretty much down the road from each other. I don't have any black locust on my property, but the neighbor's do, and looks different.

As far as i know you got 3 different kinds of locust overthere. Black, Honey and Water Locust. Black Locust (Robinie/Robinia pseudoacacia) aint native overhere its introduced from the US and A.
So i didnt think much of a difference there, as the time beeing introduced aint to long.

I feel a bit like a dumbass, i knew it would get a little difficult. But this doesnt seem to be worth the trouble right now.

Another Option would be the Winner from last round comes up with the new quiz for next sunday.
