Man it's 93f right now. I bucked and hand split about 1/4 cord of red and white oak. I said enough and just going to get my friends splitter to do the rest.
Used to have 2 ash trees just on the other side of the fence. Took em down last spring after the neighbor was on board with me. All wood is pretty much out of the shade until later afternoon. Lots of wind back there as well.
A while back we scored some 2' wide conveyer belt being removed from a distribution center that is shut down. I see the site is still having issues so can not upload more pictures. Oh well, have a great day all.

I was looking at my level of addiction and since I'm not in a super serious category I'll be happy with "Wood -a- holic" or wood -a- haulic cause almost anything made of wood I haul home and burn, luckily my place is on the small side only 5600 cubic feet which I reduce down to about 4000 when it's really cold. these are pictures of my various wood piles I've had over the last six years. This is the first pile after installing the wood stove, hauled home in the back seat of the car.
