I like my slippers, I wear them everyday, warm them by the stove or on the stove, slip out on the porch and fetch firewood in them:D
Posting up pictures of your slippers by the stove:ithappened:

Yes sir, it doesn't have that many hours on saw, but the 25" bar doesn't have much use at all.... I was getting a lot of hickory lately and I had the 20" Oregon bar on it....if I can get away with using the 20" bar on it I do...less teeth to sharpen, less chance of getting bar in dirt, and shagbark hickory is some tough wood too....I mean I keep my equipment clean, but I do use it lol.... Oh i just noticed that the bar in that pic is the 20" stihl bar that goes on my ms362....I bought a powermatch Oregon 20" to use on the ms461 so I could just leave the 20" bar on the ms362 permanently....

I tell ya when you get into a hickory patch, you WILL be sharpening your chains more frequently, stuff is HARD....

1111160802a.jpg This is all that I have cut for our home so far this fall. The firewood hoarder calculator puts it at 2.2 cords. Last week my wife and cut for some friends. She got to run her new MS170 (I think that's what it is). 1111160801b.jpg 1111160814.jpg This is our wood pile for this winter. One picture is away from our stove and the other towards it. It is not as neat or big as some, but it is what it is!

Hey I think as long as a guy has enough wood for the winter, and maybe some for the next year that is plenty!!!!

There is something very satisfying about keeping your family warm, to me anyway!!!

    Wood warmth is the best!

We push hard on getting a couple years ahead around here to emphasize having good seasoned wood ready to burn.

I burnt way too much wet, unseasoned wood my first year. Frustrating to get fires started and lots of ugly smoke rolling out of the chimney pipe for my liking.

Glad I caught the bug to get ahead!

The importance of having fully seasoned firewood is one of the things I am learning here. It has been my plan to cut my wood one year in advance of burning it and thinking I'm burning seasoned wood. The notion of cutting wood for two years out was foreign to me before reading posts on these forums. The good thing is I get cut twice as much this winter to get two years supply together.
