 ... so... whipper snapper... enjoy everything you can, soak up all the good stuff, take care of yourself (better than I have) and know there isn't one of us over 50 who wouldn't like our youth back. Not the times... just our 30 year old frames. Knowing at 30, that it was easier doing stuff when you were younger, should be all the inspiration ya need... :tree:

I wish I'd paid attention more...

Oh she does Al. She has to. She's been doing this for quite a while now. Took care of their first one for 1-1/2 yrs, all week, and the second for about 3 months, all week. She's feeling it more now tho as both at the same time is, well... :rootintootin::rootintootin:... she loves every second tho and that's what gives her all the energy she needs.

I am getting this Ash going for my brother. I know many of us work a lot harder than a lot of today's 30 y.o.!

I don't know how some of you manage to keep your wood when you have so handy to a spot you can drive right up to. Seasoned wood fetches a good price around here. Very tempting to the dishonest. My brother had pellets lifted out of his yard. He had them on a trailer. They took the trailer and pellets. His trailer was located a couple months later. It was found at a boat launch over near Turner. Has to be someone who has a way to keep an eye out for the right opertunity.

i think all the time how it's going to keep getting harder. just wish i could hurry up and win the lottery so i could enjoy my time cutting and splitting instead of always being rushed and pressed for time, lol. i enjoy the activity, and the fruits of my labor when i get to burn it, just never have as much time as i want.

Thanks for the warm welcome! The screen name is derived from my last name, not the bodily fluid

Howdy folks - New guy here on FHC. Been around some other wood related forums but I like the fact that FHC is solely focused on what matters the most. I reckon you could call me a cord hoarder.
