That are open, they look good. Never seen one of them before, the plastic ones that I have seen are all solid decks that I have stayed away from.

Yep. There basically considered throw away pallets. They dont take much pressure or impact, just real lightly made. But for stacking wood they seem to work like a charm. I put about 9 bricks under them to get them off the ground and that allows them to settle some.

I've even used 3 of them for a compost bin for the garden.

They look like they allow for a lot of airflow. Great use for plastic pallets.

Ok, back in it with our first official measurement of the year. 7.42 cord puts us back in cord hoarder territory.

I've still got a truck full of wood and about another 1/3 of a load laying on the ground waiting to stack. Hoping to get that done tomorrow, weather permitting. But if its not stacked, it doesn't count.

Mine all found the ground in November, two weeks before thanksgiving weekend. Can't remember if that was this site or the temporary sit I put all the pics of the big tree felling party on.

I burned 3 cords so far this year almost so I would need 9 to stay 3 ahead but this year was a bit extrodinary.

Yep, that's the one. He got all the parts that landed on his property. I have a cord of it stacked so far, I'd like another one that size!

Well shucks, if it has to be stacked, I'm in trouble! I have over 3 years worth of wood cut & split that has been seasoned at least 2 years in piles on the ground.

Wait a minute, forgot I started palletizing. 6 pallets (1/2 cord each) of oak, 1-1/2 crates of 1.5 - 2" diameter splits of cherry for smokers, half a crate of hedge, & a half a crate of 2-4" limb rounds of oak. This stuff has only been split a couple of months.

Still have a big pile of logs to process, just too many fun opportunities else where.

    - Apr 3rd - Charity cut

Then I better take a break & hit the "Honey Do" list or I will be MUD!
