    I must move at a slower pace than most of ya'll. I haven't noticed any problems with the alerts. When I am in a hurry, I will scan the alerts then move on. When I have more time I look for new threads. I like the alert system. I have email notification turned off.

    Ok, nobody has posted in this thread for a month. I bet it is because a bunch of us have now burnt so much wood while being unable to replenish it that a reduction in personal rank is in order! I started with about 15 cords and will end up at about 11. So I should remain a BTU possessor. I wasn't sure if I was going to need to process wood this year since a log load is good for more than a year but that was before this winter came. I definitely will be getting another load this coming fall.

    So far during this burning season I have gone out and fell and blocked up about what I have burned this year. Did we determine if blocked up wood counts toward the supply? LOL. After the last 8-9 inches of snow from last Thursday/Friday I think the snow is a little deep to be going in for more with the tractor. Suppose to get some warm weather this Thursday/Friday. So maybe next week will be better for going in and doing some more cutting.

    Even with what I have used so far still over 40 cord css. Mother Nature has kinda put a damper on any processing as my areas are under 3 ft of snow. So I do not at present have any where that I can off load log cords. Sold my skid steer earlier this year with eye on getting a tractor which would be much more useful for me. Have my eye on a JD- TLB which would fit my needs very well if not a bit over kill. If the snow keeps up like it has been this year I am going to have bite the bullet pretty quick. Just really hard on the wallet.
