Electric bill is very low. The wood bill is very high. Just the way she likes it!!!!!
And to Mastermech....... Nobody twisted your arms for those two new saws, which kick azz by the way!!!! The 056 (loud and obnoxious) still rocks. The ms 390 (tweaked by you) runs like a champ, the ms 211 is new and also tweaked (by you) and of course my favorite. My 018...... Small in size but still a BEAST!!!

I need to get up into the 15+ cord range by 2015. Then I wanna be able to increase my cord progression with the year progression. My brain is starting to lapse. I can simply ask "what year is it?" and then I will know how many cords I have. If that doesn't happen then there is one last alternative..........

Maple 1.jpg Maple 2.jpg Mulberry.jpg To go 1.jpg To go 2.jpg Thanks all. Behind so it will be awhile before this gets split. It's going to be some very nice BTU's. Truck was packed pretty tight on the 2 posted loads and may get the trunk. So much wood, so little time.

Got the blocks off of Craigslist, $0.20 each, got 120. City code says wood must be off the ground, not all mine is yet, and you can only store 1 season worth. I do like that the air can get under the wood now. Never put a tape it it but guessing I'm up to 3-4 cord :)

1 season's worth! Most of us would be convicted criminals on death row if we lived in your city. I checked my towns online code, the word 'firewood' isn't found.

The air under is good, I have my pallets up also.

Didn't have all the pallets I needed so this years and next years piles are on the ground, well what is still left outside of this years pile. Started getting pallets laid down where I've taken from so we will be putting all of our wood off the ground from now on, not just the mulberry and locust.

I'm also using the blocks to keep termites out of the pallets. Been having problems with those little devils out. Need to pick up some spray to help knock them down.

Squaring off this 2.5 cord high cube this afternoon put me over the 10 cord mark. So as of today I am now a BTU possesor. I still have more on the ground to get split and stacked. Probably another 14x6+x4 cube or even more, giving me 13 or 14 cords in total.

Sorry, no view of snow capped mouintains over my stacks. But if I go a good bit higher (like 70 feet) I could climb up on top and see the Empire State building.
