Finished my muffler mod, Made a big difference. I put a half pipe in the front plate so that I could use a removable spark screen. Also allows me to make the 2nd port bigger easily if I want to.

Now I'm kind of impressed with what $50 a better chain and a little bit of time gets you.... Cutting twice as fast as stock in this log but the difference in smaller stuff is night and day. Would now make a decent saw for limbs or backup.

Here's the vid - 26 seconds. Ran the o26 through it right afterwards in 16 seconds.

It's a small spline 7 tooth -- 8 pin. Any brand should work.

They have 3x the auctions now an no buy it now's. Those ended weeks ago. I think they realized for some reason there was an increase demand and they got more on auctions so there doing that with um all. Its also firewood season.

Ray, I sold all of mine except the one 45cc (GTG saw) and one 38cc (ATV saw). If I had an extra? I would gladly sell you one? Maybe someone here will have one?

I will keep my eye out.

GTG = good to go? I would get the biggest one if I got one. I figure it would at least as good as my 023 if not a bit better..

Search "Artisam Chainsaw" on eBay. Same seller, same saws. Most are going $45-60, free shipping.

Just my opinion here, but even your 023 is going to give a 45cc Quake a good whippin' unles there has been some serious work done to the Quake.

At a minimum. Even that would simply bring it up to "close" to your 023.
