Great example of bride in your work. I am always trying to up my game by trying to emulate the best of the FHCers
Impressive. Largest pile I've ever done was about 3.5 cord. It was in the front yard. I'd have never have heard the end of it if I let it sit there like that.
Thanks! I found these on FB Marketplace a while back. Got a ton of them, for around 8-10 bucks each. As I use up my hoard of wood, I'll replace the old rotted wooden skids with plastic.
I'm no pro yet but I'm getting the hang of it, I've got a few custom recipes we've already become fond of.
No sir, gotta save up some good logs to mill first. I've got a few big spruce trees to take down soon, those will end up being milled for the project. I'll post a thread of all that when the time comes.... As for inventory, I'm sitting on close to 36 full cord. Around 7 years of heat.
Yep, now I gotta get all that topsoil moved that I have piled up there on the other side of the culvert so I can continue the stacks.....lol I plan on building a big holz hausen right in that spot eventually. More for decoration than anything.....lol
I like me some nice looking stacks, plus the cribbed sections (around every 8-10') help keep that stack nice and stable for years.....
