thats awesome. Was that a result of covid, giving you more time to process? At one point you lost a good log supplier as he bought a processer. Old news for you. Seems like the loads have really rolled in.

Hit 90 with humidity last two days but surprisingly, it didn’t completely kick my rear ended like it usually does at first

That guy is still rolling logs in. The processor is for when he doesn’t have tree work. And yes it’s a covid benefit. Usually have 30 or so cords by this point.

I was but that’s hasn’t been the case. That’s more for winter use when tree work is slow

Maybe he could hire you to be his log processer? :saw::axe: You'll work that thing under the table

Ha! I'd like to see that...the processor we had here a few years back was rated for 4 cords per hour IIRC...:saw: :axe: :stack::stacker:

Update on the new mixed pile which has a lot of gum in it but the tw6 has been doing a good job with it. Also pictured is the new and growing oak pile plus all the room I’ve created in the past week or so by cutting logs. I will get an accurate measurement near the end of the week when school technically ends. I will be able to compare how much I have right now compared to what I normally have at this point other years

Have made a good dent in these two log piles in the last week. Hope to have it all cut by the end of the week.

Not sure how much the processor cost, but he must be doing alright that he can afford to have it sit for most of the year. I would be stockpiling logs in preparation. His loss is your gain!

Unfortunately, the older you get, the faster and more the reminders get. Later, you'll find yourself getting in your own way. Any day you can get up and move is a good day.

He has a good sized tree company and not enough yard space. I don’t know how much wood he puts on the ground a year but one day last week he brought roughly 8 cords of oak directly from a job

Gotta love getting free wood from the competition! Of course if everybody sells all their firewood every year then it's really a moot point...

Got more cut yesterday. Now all that’s left for logs sitting in this spot are a bunch of big oaks. Hope to cut later but going to the dentist for an emergency tooth pain this morning.
