It's been in the 50's-60"s when I would get home in the mornings. Felt good till lunch.

Defiantly great time to process wood. Here seems like most days are just too wet, plus I'm not as ambitious as you are.

Got 4 loads of logs dropped off today. First one was all oak. The next 3 were a mix of cherry and sassafrass. I started on the oak right away.

Nice loads, our sassafras doesn't get that big.

Got the new oak dropped off yesterday cut. Here’s pictures of the other two loads. Big cherry with some hollow/rot in the base but a lot of solid left.

Sorry for the delay. I figure I have about 55-60 cords split, 8 cords of rounds and maybe 40 cords of logs on site.

Looking mighty good, brother. At least you aren't having to kill yourself this year to get a lot done.

Up to 140’ of oak piles. Too wet to use the tractor today but I had plenty of cleaning up to do. Needed to move shorts to their pile, long pieces stacked on pallets and junk/odds and ends for my owb put in bins and hauled under cover. Hoping the rain tomorrow morning is light so I can cut in the afternoon.

Looks like you better get back to your normal job so you can get a break! Awesome looking firewood. Not always easy, but good to keep that balance of firewood time and family time. I have to keep that in mind myself. I often incorporate the two!:dancer:
