Not bad. Ive never kept track of numbers like that as the PU is for my "normal" job. I only keep tabs on money made. Most of mine are less than ten miles. Ill charge extra up to 15 miles and 95% of the time wont go over that.

Nice work jrider ! Good feeling to be "done" for a minute. I've got a few loads to deliver yet as people make room. Multi load customers. I'm gonna hang on to 40-50 cord of good stuff & see what prices do if it ever gets cold & gas prices keep rising. Might be profitable to have some good quality inventory in the middle of winter. We'll see.

I've had some people tell me I should do the same but even though delivery is when I make my money, it's by far my least part of the firewood process so I just like to get it done. Also, don't like to have to deal with snow and ice if we get any. And it could interfere with hunting and skiing and I work too hard to have my few hobbies messed with. As much as I love doing firewood, I do always enjoy the short break this time of year brings.

Getting caught up on your thread, brother. That was an amazing year, for sure. Glad you got'er done.
We also had the biggest year, so far, too. Finally convinced some of our customers to buy early and stack at their place, cuts out a step or 2 for us.
This year looks to be the same, delivered a load to a campground and they want 2 more.
Restaurant called yesterday, needed cooking wood. Got finished with this load of oak and hickory @10:45PM last night 0330220908.jpg
