Is this the rack set up that was posted recently for selling firewood bundles? Sometimes I have trouble keeping track of who posts what?

Way to go jrider kids. Great start and it's early for winter fires.

That’s awesome. If I share that idea with my son he will want to do the same! That’s 10 times more than he makes mowing the neighbors lawn, and he can only do that once a week. Maybe I should start doing that!

This is the weekend. The weekend that officially puts me past my goal. I currently have delivered 140 cords and I'm trying to deliver at least 20 between Friday afternoon and Sunday. So 150 WILL happen at some point this weekend! And from that point on, it's just a matter of seeing how much more money I can make.

I’ve always enjoyed selling wood as a side thing because I could always stop as soon as it felt like work. It’s felt like work often this year but I just kept plugging away because I had so many logs laying around.
A normal year is 110-125 which still keeps me plenty busy but I think there is a threshold somewhere in those numbers and I crossed it this year.

Maybe that threashold was when you came down with appendicitis? I think if you stay healthy, you could pull 175 at least?!?

I’m just kidding; thanks for taking us on the journey with you, and congratulations.

You might have some disappointed customers next year, maybe develop a "best customer" list so the good ones don't get shorted?

X2 on taking us on this adventure, great job. I think just working without the goal so high will make it less like work, being sick really puts a damper on things.

One sure way to curb demand is to raise the prices. I would think dry oak could command a proper premium.
I know you have a day job during the “off season,” but maybe it would be less work like if you spread out some of the bucking and splitting throughout the year.. wouldn’t be so hot either.
Much respect for teachers btw. As many priorities as out country gets wrong, I think that teaching should be a top tier priority for us. Education is like a turbo-charger for the economy, the only thing is the turbo lag for education is about 18 years.(too long for the election cycle to care)
