It’s all loaded by hand into a stake body dump truck which can hold up to 2 cords

Careful, if you're ahead of schedule, we may want to see 200.

Thank you. The surgery didn’t set me back as bad as I thought it was going to

Thanks. 200 will NEVER be a goal. I love cutting wood but it’s starting to feel like a job!

For the amount of wood you process, conditions you work in, and time invested, it would feel like a job to me as well.
And i love making firewood too.
In the Winter, whole other story!

It usually doesn’t feel that way to me though. Maybe it’s just trying to figure out who would cut after my surgery, trying to get caught up once I was well, and the fact my wife is in the Bahamas for 5 days which leaves me with the kids and all that comes with that.

How many cords does your largest customer purchase? I guess you make lots of deliveries in September on the weekends and after school? In my area many people are occasional burners. They don't seem to buy a load of wood until Sept/Oct.

I have a few people buy 3-4 cords but I get a lot of 1 and 2 cord deliveries. Most of the deliveries are done on weekends and some Friday afternoon/evenings. I usually start making deliveries in mid to late September but will probably start the weekend after Labor Day this year. On a good weekend I can get rid of 20-25 cords.
