946D0326-49D3-4372-BB44-6C51BA57361C.png I put in 4 hours today and wrapped things up by 11:30. It was hot but I honestly felt fine. Thursday whipped me more than today. I stopped though because I had neighbors coming over to hang in the pool. My brother works on a blueberry/cranberry farm said today got to him. Here’s the weather app info at 10:10 tonight

Been making good progress considering the heat. Here’s some pictures I took while standing up on the tractor. And one of the temp and feels like at quitting time today.

You always use the 6 way? Even on 30"+ logs?

Absolutely. It makes resplits that often only need one pass through the 6 way.

Should easily reach my August 1st goal. Started cutting wood in my soon to be new oak pile. Had this little load of locust dropped off

Now I assume that all you sell is less than 20% and ready to burn.

Yep that should command top dollar. Dad and I sold locust posts and a 1/2 cord equivalent was worth over $200. Had we cut the posts into firewood it would have been about $60 back in the 80's. 1 11 foot log split into rails was $32.
