    ummmm.

    1. you're arguing that it should be split horizontally? Fire wood still grows vertically, right?

    2. I don't think God needs the firewood, probably someone else he knows uses it though....

Its all good though....maybe you'll see the light!

    :D

Thanks MikeInMa, I do have a tight operation, but after 40 years have it down to a science. Wood processing area, and about 8 cords stacked. Thank God for my neighbor. We share the side yards to get to our back yards. Me more than her. So I keep her in wood for her fireplace. She's a jewel. Chief

When it' stacked looking at it is a warm feeling too.

Gotta love everything about this thread. 3 generations of family time, a good score of great wood, fresh air in the woods, and the ol' horizontal vs. vertical debate.

So glad that new neighbor worked out fine Chief. That worried me when the place was for sale. One never knows for sure what his neighbor will be like; hopefully a good neighbor though. A bad neighbor can really make life miserable.

Why insist on a young boy? After all, to quote On Golden Pond, what good are dwarfs if they don't do chores?

And it can really be nice if they happen to be young girls too! Something pleasant to the eyes...
