Got about 8" coming down hard and the wind is really picking up....... plowed already for 2 hours......
Going to be deep up north; what kept the totals low here was that it sleeted most of the time. It is a mess on the roads though and of course idiots just had to pack it hard. That idiot's truck is still parked down the street; he tried to tow it out with another truck . I started to not go down last night but I was afraid the idiot had brought his children out in the storm.
Typical Chessie in the background. He looking at you saying "come on dad it's wonderful weather out I don't want to go inside where it's warm "
Shes been out a lot already and LOVES IT! I posted a video of her in the pet thread....... Still snowing hard....... not supposed to end until about 3 a.m. sunday
Any time I see snow near, around, or south of the M/D line As consolation,,,,,, not a single flake has hit the ground in the last 48 hours here.
The "bullseye" was just east of me, but it's coming down at a pretty good clip. They are guessing 30+" could fall. I can easily go find a drift that has 40 already.
We have always had labs and used to run a lot of field trials. One of our good friends has CBRs. Any retriever we ever owned would crawl through 8 feet of snow to play in it.. I hope everyone makes out ok down there. I'm wishing we were getting some here but after the pounding we got last winter I'm not so snow greedy right now. Maybe next year.
We're now under a blizzard warning and snow totals updraded 22"-30" After a whole pizza, its back to plowing.
So where are you northerners going to pile all that snow? Hey, I have an idea, pile it up in a huge mountain and open a ski resort.
Down in Baltimore, they dump the snow in the harbor and then worry about disturbing the salinity... Kim, you are such a good person...hope the Knucklehead made it home safely.
Let the knucklehead sit out in the cold for a while, hopefully he'll learn. That's how I got learned many moons ago.
18 inches and still snowing here. Had to take a break and get a pic of how deep it is. The ranger goes great really surprised me now it's time for the snowmobile though.
Finally! someone posted a picture Ok, Scotty, you are getting what you wanted. Also doing a good job of keeping it down there. None here, none predicted. win win.
For scale, that back most covered stack has a 2 x 6 as the first rafter...... I need to my wife needs to get that cleaned off!
