Your 357xp ran great at the GTG. I'd be torn between it and the 460.. He does build a mean 460. I just ran my new 440 Arctic and I got times of 3.6 seconds per cut. My 460 runs about 2.8 (or a hair under. Same Cant, same chain). To put that in perspective, my Solo 681 and the 385xp I just sold to Shawn Curry run about 3 seconds flat. Both the 681 and 385 are 80 cc class saws.
Well I booked my slot today so I have a few months to decide........ Maybe I will have a different saw by then
Hope it's done by the next GTG I will probably make mine an annual thing. It was Oct 4th this year. I'd like to move it up a few weeks. It was cold and blustery, just as it was at Swags in May. Or maybe one of you southern boys can have one? I wouldn't mind coming down and riding a day with you and cutting a day with you.
I've thought about doing one.......we have plenty of land for it. But...... I think the Wigglesworth GTG is the must attend GTG in these parts though. Y'all damm Yankees need to come on down fer it.
So... anybody know what a good used 545/2252 should go for? $300 sound fair? Thanks! Did you get Dan's fixed? I sent him one of those NOS Pistons... Keep up the good work! I've got a 262xp that's calling your name...
It's over for this year.......but will happen again. Early fall I think. It was the weekend after the Ga GTG this past year.
With a date that is before Feb 1st? Anything is possible. But my vacation (90% of it) needs to be in by Feb 1. Not saying I can't make one without the advanced notice. But it makes it easier.
if you commit to going, I will go. Id really like to meet you face to face and shake your hand Kenis.
