In a pocket holster, in the athletic shorts I wear it would slap around from side to frnot as I run. I will sometimes put my S5 galaxy in my pocket whicH is less than half the weight and it slaps around all uncomfortable. As far as belly baNd , I have seen them but never considered them.
I never thought about them for run/jog use. Looked at them as just anothe concealment method for normale use. Will get back on like ebay and look at how they sit on the body and where the gun actually is contained. That might be the solution.
I make my wife take a can of pepper spray when she runs. It's not a gun, but its light and better than nothing. She also runs into several dogs that have chased after her, and she's typically running with one of our dogs. I'd rather she spray them both with pepper spray than worry about shooting our own dog.
I could take a can of pepper stay I have I guess. Forgot I had it. I got my wife some and me some when the neighbors had a crazy semi agrees I've acting dog. I was just waiting to spray that dog the next time it charged me in MY yard. But I stood my ground so many times prior and ran it off it would just stay in the street or their yard and bark at me. Of course it eventually got run over. Stupid dog. Was even a full bred weimaraner. Dog was dumb as rocks! And it replaced one that was not bight either but was not aggressive like this one.
I know someone who carries a pistol in a binocular harness in some circumstances. Something similar to this.
There is also a bulldog cellphone case like that. It's for small semi autos. And it goes on your belt and looks like a big zip up case for a smart phone very similar to that.
That would work. As long as you can't see the sides of the gun. We have to be concealed in this state to be legal. You can print or it can look like a holster (as in a chest holster) bit no part of the gun can be visible. This and the latter option are viable solutions maybe.
Ha! I had my phone dimmed down earlier and just picked an image from cabelas. I didn't notice the binos were exposed on the sides. But there's a bunch of binocular harnesses available that are fully enclosed. Some fly fishing chest packs would probably work too and have more compartments for other stuff.
What model 380 are we talking here? Sig 238, Bersa Thunder, Glock 43 or LCP, KelTec size? That Maxpedition bag will snug up nice and tight with the extension. It's more like a mini Fannie pack than a belt clipped cell phone holder. Or, you could use it like this. On another note, 27 was the high yesterday. It hovered around 23-24 most of the day. The warm front pushed through last night. Right now we are at 35°.
A Taurus TCP 738. Which is basically the same size as the keltec p-3AT and the Rugar LCP. I thought about that Maxpedition bag you showed worn just like that. Binocular holders would work and keep secured as would a fly fishing chest pack but those just tend to be expensive and this is an every now and then thing so I'd rather not spend $60-80 on it.
