The 10mm has become quite popular as a woods gun. I love my G20.

For the past couple months I have been perusing GunBroker looking for a Baby Browning. Bid on a few but they went way to high for me. It is commonly called one of the first “mouse” or vest pocket guns. As luck would have it one came up at a gun consignment auction just 8 miles from our home today! And so it goes, a 25 ACP has to find room in my gun safe (or vest pocket)

Made in Belgium 1968 and in exc condition. Came with the original Browning soft case. 25 acp not a powerhouse but it should be fun to shoot.

A 25 in your pocket is better than the 45 you left at home.

    Here is my S&W 500

It is actually a North American Arm mini revolver. It has cylinders for 22LR and 22 mag. It has an 1 5/8'' barrel. They also have a 1 1/8" barrel. I got the 1 5/8'' because the bullet has a good bit more velocity with the longer barrel. The longer barrel also makes it safer to load and unload. With the short barrel, it would be very easy to put you hands in front of the barrel while loading.

I bought another P320. This is my new carry gun. My other one is the Tacops model with a threaded barrel so it would not be a good carry gun. This is a P320 Carry. My holster just came Thursday and I love it. I had kydex holsters for my Berretta Nano and Taurus 709. This holster is so much better and I don't have a belt yet. A belt will help support it better. I can't believe how much more comfortable this holster is. It is almost like I am not carrying.

The holster is an Alien Gear shape shift. First I tried setting it up for appendix carry but the P320 is too big for that. I really like it set up as a IWB holster. One of these days I am going to get a P365. I can buy the shell for a P365 and use the same holster.

That would a cool gun to have. I'm surprised it is loud. I have been on a 22 buying spree. I only need 2 more, a Ruger charger takedown and a Keltec PMR30.

    That PMR30 is cool.

I want to buy something else. Having a young family and single income has effected any purchases I may or may not make;).

I want a 10/22. Also looked at a youth bolt action Savage 22 for my son at Bass Pro Shops. I want to get that for him in the next few years. Bb gun first though.

617 6" 10 shot revolver. This gun is used around the cabin for pest control and often accompanies me during rabbit snaring, deer hunting, hiking or ice fishing for potting grouse and snowshoe hares. I shoot everything from mini mags to cb caps through it, and it is possible to shoot very accurately with it.

The reliability of a PMR30 is iffy. I found a PMR30 on sale back around Christmas for $300 shipped on night. I went to order it the next morning and it was sold out.

Check out the Thompson Center TCR 22. It is a tricked out 10/22. I have a 10/22 and love it.

Obnoxious, ridiculous and obsurd...with full +p+ the recoil is a magnum snap transferred right into the grip in the center of you palm of strong hand.

It can be managed, technique can only take so much out of the wallop that a 500 gr projectile pushed by 38 grains of fast powder.

That sounds like fun. Someday I am going to get one. The 460XVR looks cool also.

My 454 Casull is heavy enough that the high powered loads are very manageable in it. Was at the gun store when this guy brings in this unmanageable handgun (my now 454!) and has shot only 2 shells through it and wants to trade it off. I kind of stand around, they get all done with their dealing and after the door closes behind him my gun store owner says to me, "want to buy a USED 454 for $700?" She came home with me and I was surprised how tame she is. Guess my 410 derringers and my Alaskan Survivival derringer in 45-70 have helped me learn to hold on to a "snappy" gun.
